Job summary

SECU is seeking a Financial Advisor with a focus on investment, trust, and estate planning to deliver holistic member solutions. You will advise on life insurance, investments, and retirement planning while using CXOne, NetX 360, and Envestnet within SECU platforms.

The role emphasizes proactive advisory engagements, cross‑department collaboration, and ongoing member education to meet financial goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years as Insurance/Investment/Trust Representative or similar.
• Must have life insurance license within 2 months of hire.
• Fully licensed in Investments (SIE/6/63/65 OR SIE/7/66) OR ATFA designation.
• Excellent communication and ability to discuss financial planning topics.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct financial advisory services and deliver suitable solutions to members.
• Develop ongoing relationships through regular communication and education across channels.
• Navigate SECU systems and life insurance software to support member needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill member requests.
• Mentor and train newer employees on advisory services.
• Maintain KPI performance and compliance with MISP.
