SECU Credit Union is seeking a Financial Advisor to build and manage investment and planning relationships with members in Maryland. You will advise on long-term financial strategies, educate on risk and return, and work with cross-functional teams to expand member portfolios while adhering to SEC/FINRA regulations and BSA requirements.

Qualifications

• 4 year College Degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years’ experience in Investment Sales.
• Licensing: FINRA Series 7; Series 66/63/65; MD Life & Health Insurance designation; CFP or CRPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide investment recommendations and advice based on member needs.
• Establish value-added relationships to understand investment and planning goals.
• Follow SEC/FINRA, BSA, OFAC, and Patriot Act regulatory guidelines.
• Prospect outside SECU to develop new member relationships.
