Job summary

First Commonwealth Bank in Canton, OH, seeks a Financial Advisor to guide clients on investments, retirement and insurance product needs within an assigned territory. You will deliver an advice-led planning process to meet goals and stay compliant with industry regulations.

You will own prospecting, train bank partners, and develop leads through self-sourced marketing and client relationships to grow business in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum five years of financial sales experience preferred.
• Current Series 7 / 63 and Life, Accident & Health licensing required; Series 65/66 within 90 days.
• Proven success in financial sales with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Technological savvy with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a full range of investment, retirement and insurance products to meet goals.
• Deliver an advice-led financial planning sales process to augment opportunities.
• Collect and analyze income, assets and debts to assist client goals.
• Manage client relationships; deepen and lengthen relationships and cross-sell.
• Own prospecting; develop leads by coaching bank partners and staff.
• Generate business through self-sourced marketing and relationships with prospects.
• Determine client needs and sell services most appropriate for each client.
• Refer to partners and other lines of business to enhance client value.
• Assist Brokerage Support with sales and problem resolution.
• Coordinate with management to develop and track sales goals and results.
• Maintain records of activities and achieve performance targets.
• Participate in training, meetings and client builder reporting.
• Stay informed on regulatory and compliance changes affecting the industry.
• Assess territory dynamics for threats and opportunities.
