Job description

Work with an experienced advisor to build a personal book of business and help shape clients' financial future by developing an ongoing financial planning relationship focused on accomplishing clients' goals. Build a pipeline, complete with personal and professional contacts and new leads.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Obtain your required licenses/credentials within 150 days of hire, including:
- FINRA Series 7
- Active State Securities Agent Registration (S63 or S66)
- Active IAR Registration (S65 or S66)
- State Life, Health Insurance, and Variable Products lines.
  • Attend and engage in licensing coaching as required, making progress within the program’s licensing and appointment timelines.
  • Assist seasoned financial advisors in working with clients to achieve their financial goals.
  • Serve as a key team member, creating and delivering a unique client experience that differentiates the practice.
  • Support clients and prospects holistically or through specialized products/services, which may include:
  • - Developing and executing a marketing plan to meet client acquisition goals.
    - Identifying clients to engage or re-engage in financial planning relationships.
    - Gathering and analyzing data to develop financial recommendations.
    - Preparing and delivering financial plans and fostering ongoing relationships.
    - Becoming a product expert to serve clients effectively, run illustrations, and develop product-centric recommendations.
    - Managing parts of the business, such as operations, process improvements, staff meetings, and monitoring budgets.
    - Managing the practice’s client service model and ensuring consistent execution.
    • Follow high standards of ethics, legal, and regulatory requirements in all activities.


    Required Qualifications

    • Support a seasoned financial advisor or advisors as part of a team practice.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
    • High confidence, perseverance, and a strong desire to succeed in a goal-oriented environment.
    • Accountability for results.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
    • Willingness to learn from experienced advisors and collaborate within a team environment.

    Base Salary: $45,000 - $60,000
