TruNorth Advisors, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a dedicated Financial Advisor to build holistic financial plans for clients and meet with them weekly. The role requires licenses in Health and Life Insurance, Series 65 or 66 and CFP certification (or in progress).

You will serve high-net-worth clients, deliver excellent service, and collaborate with our investment team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Hold licenses in the financial industry including Health and Life Insurance, Series 65 or 66 and CFP or are in the process to obtain in the next 12 months.
  • Strong understanding of reporting and financial plan building.
  • Excellent rapport with clients and co-workers.
  • Ability to work independently, good time management and critical thinking.
  • Excellent written and oral communications.
  • Superior client relations skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with high net worth clients to ensure their retirement is on track.
  • Building financial reporting models to gauge performance and investment strategies.
  • Meet face to face with clients in-office or via zoom depending on the day.
  • Listen to and understand client needs, respond promptly on behalf of team members through phone calls, emails and mail.
  • Be a high performer who is highly motivated to grow with a rapidly expanding company.

This person will be a financial advisor who works building out holistic financial plans for our clients at the firm while also meeting with clients on a weekly basis. Our candidate is articulate, pleasant, dependable and desires an exceptional work culture. Applicant must have a strong capacity to handle varying work tasks including building financial plans, servicing clients on phone calls, providing exemplary customer service to clients and prospects during in-office visits, calendar management, working with the investment team on recommendations for strategy meetings , critical thinking skills and showing great attention to detail.

Commitment:

9 a.m.– 5 p.m. Monday-Friday

Compensation:

Starting salary range is $75K to 125K (higher end if you hold your CFP), plus full medical and dental benefits and a generous retirement benefit plan. All Holidays off, plus 4 weeks off for vacation -- PLUS a week at Thanksgiving and a week and a half at Christmas. Bonus opportunity on additional assets gathered in advising clients.

Skills & Experience Required:
