Job summary

You will perform month-end close, monitor reconciliations, and produce financial statements while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with auditors and Head Office. The role entails system enhancements and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of financial accounting experience.
• CPA certification required.
• Extensive knowledge of financial products (loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, money market, repo).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily/monthly monitoring and reconciliations and assist with month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and reports; coordinate with auditors.
• Mentor junior staff on accounting standards and internal policies.
• Support system enhancement projects from a financial accounting perspective.
• Respond to inquiries from Head Office and auditors.
