Job summary

The Sarasota Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller is seeking a Financial Accounting Analyst to serve as lead and subject matter expert in finance. The role focuses on identifying accounting issues, developing practical solutions, and implementing them within the Finance and Board Services division in downtown Sarasota, Florida.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience, plus extensive public/private finance background.

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Accounting Analyst to serve as lead and subject matter expert in all functional areas and assigned special projects within the Finance and Board Services division. This position performs technical and professional service assistance involving the identification and evaluation of financial accounting issues, the development of viable and cost-effective solutions, and negotiation and implementation of those solutions. The position is based in beautiful downtown Sarasota, Florida.

The minimum starting pay is $63,119. Starting salary is commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, up to $79,271.
