Job summary

Enerflex is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team in Houston, TX. The role supports month-end close, reconciliations, payroll and benefits, and tax compliance, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in accounting or finance, SAP experience, 4+ years in a related field, and strong Excel skills. CPA is a plus; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; master’s degree a plus.
• SAP experience required; Sales and Use tax and Blackline experience preferred.
• CPA certification a plus.
• Ideal candidate has 4+ years of recent work experience in a related field.
• Self-motivated with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent Excel and SAP skills; ability to communicate across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations.
• Prepare payroll, benefits and other entries.
• Support reconciliations for intercompany, payroll/benefits, fixed assets, capex, and right-of-use assets.
• Input financial data in BPC.
• Validate sales tax exemption certificates and upload in OneSource.
• Review accrued use tax and prepare tax correction files.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
