Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience including accounts payable or related field
• Prior payroll processing experience required
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to handle confidential payroll data

Responsibilities

• Lead bi-weekly payroll processing for BHC, RAH, and Construction and manage related recordkeeping
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll questions and deductions
• Set up and maintain payroll records for hires, terminations, and pay-rate changes
• Record payroll costs in the accounting system and reconcile payroll deductions bi-weekly
• Maintain accounts payable records; verify invoices and prepare payments
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in financial reporting
