Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to maintain the general ledger, drive the monthly close, and translate data into clear, actionable insights for leadership. The ideal candidate will have GAAP knowledge, 2–5 years of accounting experience, and the technical capability to write SQL queries that extract data from databases, plus advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
2–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger management and financial analysis.
Deep understanding of debits/credits and foundational accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).

Responsibilities

General Ledger Management: Prepare, post, and document recurring and ad-hoc journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications.
Data Extraction & Analysis: Write and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large volumes of financial data directly from our databases.
Financial Close: Drive and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Variance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses of financial statements to identify trends and explain QoQ and YoY differences.
Management Reporting: Design, prepare, and deliver clear financial presentations and reporting packages to senior management.
