Job summary

Lauterbach & Amen, a respected CPA firm in Vernon Hills, IL, is seeking a full-time Accountant to join our tax, accounting, auditing and advisory services team.

You will prepare general ledger entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, assist with financial statements and government reports, and advise clients on internal accounting matters.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA or active pursuit, 0–3 years of accounting experience, and strong organization and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or actively pursuing a license is preferred.
• 0-3 years of general accounting experience required.

We are searching for a full-time Accountant. This role will be based at a client in Vernon Hills, IL.

Lauterbach & Amen is committed to offering compensation that is fair, transparent, and competitive. The anticipated, average salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000, with the final offer determined based on business-related factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, education, skill set, and professional certifications. As part of our compensation philosophy, offers are typically not made at the top of the range to allow room for future growth and salary progression over time

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field of study

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed
• Strong organizations skills and detail-oriented
• Highly motivated, self-starter
