A leading environmental services organization with a nationwide presence is seeking a Manager, Finance & Treasury to join its growing Finance & Treasury team. The company operates more than 100 branches and multiple recovery and recycling facilities across the U.S., with a strong focus on sustainability, resource recovery, and responsible environmental practices.

About the Role

The Manager, Finance & Treasury will play a key role in safeguarding and maximizing the company's cash position while supporting broader financial planning and corporate finance initiatives.

This position offers a unique blend of FP&A, treasury, financial analysis, and corporate finance, with significant exposure to senior leadership. The role will partner closely with the Director and VP of Finance & Treasury and the CFO on cash management, budgeting and forecasting, capital structure, working capital, financial risk management, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & FP&A (~90%)

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with functional leaders.
• Monitor key financial and operational metrics and identify trends impacting performance.
• Oversee financial planning and budgeting systems and identify opportunities for continued improvement.
• Prepare financial analysis, including ROI calculations for significant capital investments.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to communicate cash performance, KPIs, and other key metrics to senior leadership.
• Participate in benchmarking and operational improvement initiatives.

Treasury & Cash Management (~10%)

• Develop and execute treasury strategies, policies, and procedures designed to maximize cash management and liquidity.
• Oversee daily cash management activities supporting the company's operations.
• Partner with senior leadership on borrowing, investing, and corporate finance initiatives.
• Develop and maintain policies surrounding capital structure, working capital, foreign exchange, interest rate risk, and insurance risk management.
• Build and maintain relationships with key banking partners and monitor banking and financing trends.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure cash, financing, and other treasury transactions are properly recorded.

Leadership & Business Partnership

• Train, develop, and supervise a Junior Financial Analyst supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Partner with leaders across the organization to improve financial planning and decision-making.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance financial and operational processes.
• Participate in industry committees and other strategic initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
