Korn Ferry is proud to partner exclusively with our client, a global Fortune 500 organization, to recruit a Treasury Leader (#2 in function) to be based out of its headquarters in Minnesota with easy access to the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area (onsite / open for relocation).
Reporting to the CAO and Treasurer, this newly created leadership role will oversee and elevate the company’s treasury function, including liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking operations, treasury governance, and foreign exchange risk management. The Director of Treasury will play a critical role in shaping and executing treasury strategy, partnering closely with senior finance leaders to strengthen financial flexibility, enhance controls, and support the company’s long-term growth objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and day-to-day treasury operations to ensure effective funding and visibility across the enterprise.
- Execute and support the company’s capital structure and capital allocation strategy to maximize value creation opportunities.
- Manage foreign exchange exposure and risk mitigation activities.
- Oversee the governance and execution of intercompany cash and debt settlement activities.
- Develop and execute funding strategies, including cash repatriation initiatives and broader treasury planning activities.
- Manage treasury activities related to credit facilities, debt compliance, banking administration, and financing support processes.
- Maintain and strengthen banking relationships, including account structures, services, fees, documentation, user access, and ongoing account management.
- Monitor treasury-related financial exposures and provide analysis to support leadership decisions regarding liquidity, interest rates, foreign exchange, and counterparty risk.
- Partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and business leaders to enhance cash forecasting, optimize working capital visibility, and improve treasury execution.
- Maintain treasury policies, controls, and governance processes to support compliance, audit readiness, and strong financial stewardship.
- Prepare treasury reporting, analyses, and presentations for executive leadership, lenders, auditors, and other key stakeholders.
- Drive process improvement, systems optimization, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, visibility, and control.
- Lead, mentor, and develop treasury team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and other treasury-related priorities as required.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in treasury, cash management, corporate finance, or a related leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity forecasting, debt administration, treasury controls, and banking operations.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across functions and leadership levels.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and execution.
- Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Guam).
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with PeopleSoft, treasury management systems (TMS), or similar ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of hedging strategies and financial risk management practices.
- Exposure to capital markets activities and financing transactions.
- Understanding of multinational corporate structures, transfer pricing, consolidated tax environments, and tax planning principles.
- Experience supporting bank account administration, credit agreements, debt compliance monitoring, and lender communications.
- Professional certification such as CTP, CPA, or CFA preferred.
