Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager for Finance Solutions and Transformation in Chicago to drive end-to-end Plan-to-Report initiatives. You will guide strategy, partner with peers and executives, and ensure timely delivery of finance transformation roadmaps in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes program leadership, cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and the ability to balance risk, speed, and cost while delivering measurable impact across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in management consulting, or project management from a public accounting firm or multi-national company.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects, identifying and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to structure projects, define goals, and manage the entire program lifecycle from inception to close.
• Work with Finance and cross-functional teams to document workflows, identify gaps, propose improvements, and drive consensus on business requirements.
• Communicate project status, risks, and remediation plans to executive stakeholders.
• Track progress, milestones, key issues, and change controls while leading working group meetings.
• Define and monitor key metrics to measure the business impact of process improvements.
