Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Manager, Finance Transformation for the Power & Utilities sector in California. You will lead finance transformation programs, design operating models, and deliver sustainable value for clients, working with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Travel will be extensive (60–80%), and you will mentor colleagues, drive process improvement from planning through close, and partner with ERP and PowerPlan implementations, consolidations, and regulatory reporting

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of consulting experience in power & utilities.
• Experience with P&U finance functions and applications such as SAP/Oracle/PowerPlan.
• Familiarity with finance compliance, regulation, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver finance transformation programs for P&U clients.
• Define operating models and transformation roadmaps.
• Coordinate with CFOs, senior leaders and project teams.
• Manage travel requirements and client engagement (60–80%).
• Oversee FP&A, cost management, and financial close improvements.
