Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a Head of Finance Transformation to define and drive the transformation agenda across Finance. This senior role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and partners with Finance leadership to modernize processes, data, analytics, and capabilities.

The role requires leading large-scale programs, shaping operating models, and delivering measurable benefits while maintaining regulatory and risk controls. Hybrid or in-office presence is expected, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• In-depth expertise in Finance transformation, including operating model design and analytics modernization.
• Proven ability to advise executive and senior Finance leaders on enterprise implications.
• Extensive experience leading large-scale, complex transformation initiatives in regulated global environments.
• Strong enterprise judgement balancing ambition with governance, risk and control.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct executive ownership.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Finance Transformation strategy, roadmap, and target operating model.
• Advise CFO and Finance leaders on investment, capability development, and modernization priorities.
• Lead governance for the Finance transformation portfolio and oversee major programs.
• Collaborate with Finance Leadership to align operating structures and resources for future priorities.
• Represent Finance transformation in senior leadership forums and enterprise strategy discussions.
