Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to lead business process analysis, define requirements to remediate gaps, and optimize costs and cycle times for client engagements. You will work with the Transformation Practice to design and implement sustainable finance and operations models that meet business needs and drive performance.

You will collaborate across functional areas, manage engagements, develop client solutions, and pursue new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum 5 years of work-related consulting experience serving cross-industry clients at a national level, or relevant finance function roles.
• Industry-recognized professional certification required.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to perform quantitative analysis and build business cases.
• Experience with process analysis, Reporting & BI, Data Analysis & Reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of close-the-books, Chart-of-Accounts, treasury, FP&A & benchmarking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Travel up to 30% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop client-focused solutions based on strategy, operations, and management needs across multiple functions.
• Perform engagement management: reviews, delegation, scheduling, financials, quality control, client management.
• Leverage consulting and industry experience to help clients achieve long-term goals.
• Analyze issues and design effective solutions for clients.
• Manage business development activities: proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and thought leadership.
• Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.
• Maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with client management at all levels.
• Work with managers and partners to identify and resolve client problems promptly.
• Mentor and coach staff on projects and evaluate performance.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
• Other duties as assigned.
