Job summary

ThinkBRG in Boston seeks an Associate Director for Finance Excellence to lead transformation engagements, delivering value creation and performance improvements for private equity-backed clients. You will manage multiple workstreams, mentor junior staff, and produce board-ready analyses, robust financial models, and strategic roadmaps.

Travel to client sites as needed in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, financial or operational due diligence, finance transformation, corporate finance, operational improvement, or related advisory roles.
• Experience in both consulting and industry environments is a plus.
• PE-backed or sponsor-driven exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of finance transformation, operational improvement, and value creation engagements.
• Serve as primary client contact for CFOs, executive teams, and PE sponsors.
• Translate complex challenges into structured analyses and actionable workplans.
