As a
Finance & Technology Operations Specialist at ALC, you will support a wide range of internal functions — from accounting and payroll support to systems administration and data reporting.
You'll work closely with our finance, operations, and leadership teams to help things run smoothly across platforms like QuickBooks Online, ClickUp, and Reach to ensure that ALC
Wows professionally and CAREs personally.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
General Accounting & Finance:Assist with coding and entering AP invoicesComplete accurate, weekly coding of bank and credit card transactionsSupport the finance team in providing weekly reporting to the CEOPost payroll journal entry semi-monthlyDownload & organize credit card and bank statements at month endSupport tracking down credit card receipts and expense reportingOwn the monthly client billing process and provide great customer service as neededAssist with balance sheet reconciliations as neededTime Reporting:Pull and deliver weekly timesheet reporting to Controllers for review from ClickUpPull and deliver monthly billable time reporting to CFOs for review from ClickUpAssist with timesheet administration, changes, and answer questions as neededFP&A Support:Pull and organize financial data for dashboards or ad hoc requestsHelp prep visuals or charts for leadership to facilitate sound business decision makingTech & Systems Administration:- Provide admin support for key technologies used at ALC, including ClickUp, QBO, & Reach
- Troubleshoot common issues for employees and liaise with internal ops/tech when needed
- General Administration & Team Collaboration:
- Help manage internal records and shared documentation
- Assist with company meetings logistics
- Assist with project-based tasks that may span HR, finance, or ops
- Assist executive team as needed with other projects and or initiatives
Expected Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies:
- Clear demonstration of our #BeCurious core value - a growth mindset, with the desire and ability to learn new things especially new systems and processes
- Strong critical thinking abilities with a passion for finding efficient solutions
- Strong detail orientation and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and proactive time management skills
- Basic comfort with numbers, data entry, and reporting
- Proficient in tools like Excel or Google Sheets
- Clear and collaborative communicator, both written and verbal
- A ‘CAN-DO' attitude and approach to work
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in finance, accounting support, or administrative roles
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, ClickUp, or similar tools a plus
- Internship or academic exposure to business, finance, or systems helpful

Targeted range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
How We Determine What We Pay
As a fully remote employer, ALC determines pay for positions using national and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined based on experience.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant's level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
