Job summary

Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County seeks an experienced Finance Assistant Director – Technology to lead the department’s technology, enterprise applications, and financial systems. This role acts as the primary Finance technology liaison and owner for Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, HCM, CPMS, Kyriba, and related integrations.

The position directs strategy, oversees implementation projects, and ensures data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance across systems supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of experience in system implementations, including governmental financial systems such as ERP, EPM, and HCM.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technology strategy and governance for a large Finance organization.
• Experience coordinating with IT, vendors, and business leaders to deliver complex financial software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leads Finance technology strategy and roadmap aligned with department priorities.
• Oversees functional support for Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, HCM, CPMS, Kyriba, and related tools.
• Manages lifecycle of finance technology initiatives including requirements, testing, deployment, and change management.
• Ensures data integrity, controls, reporting, and security across finance applications.
• Coordinates security, access reviews, incident management, and audit readiness.
