Job summary

Citi is building a Business Architecture practice to guide IT improvements for Finance functions. The Technology Business Architect will shape Citi's Finance architecture, document current and future states, and emphasize AI and automation.

The role requires 6+ years in engineering/architecture, strong communication, and experience in matrix environments. Location is New York, with a competitive salary range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in an engineering and/or architecture capacity supporting Finance or related business functions.
• Cross-functional business process improvement and enterprise architecture change experience.
• Ability to operate in matrix environments and manage multiple workstreams.
• Strong communication skills enabling engagement at senior management level.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, GenAI, and agentic automation relevant to Finance use cases.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic direction and set business architecture standards across Citi businesses.
• Document current and future-state architectures aligned to processes and data needs.
• Collaborate with Finance and Shared Services to map business architectures.
• Work with data architects to align data dependencies with architecture objectives.
• Guide engineering teams on Citi architecture principles and governance processes.
