Job summary

The State of Mississippi's Health Department is seeking a finance leader to prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and projections to inform decision-making and safeguard the agency's financial health.

You will oversee grant accounting activities, including budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements, while developing policies and internal controls. You will provide leadership to the Finance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 5-6 years of experience.
• Great communication skills and ability to work independently and in groups.
• Proficient typing skills and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities
