Job summary

Enpal's subsidiary EFS seeks a Head of Accounting & Tax to lead reliable HGB and IFRS reporting, close processes, budgeting, and tax compliance. The role involves accounting for factoring/ leasing receivables, SPVs, and financing structures with significant business exposure.

Strong IFRS/HGB knowledge and cross‑functional collaboration are essential. You will drive process improvements, coordinate audits, and partner with Enpal Group functions to scale the accounting function, while overseeing

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar.
• Several years in audit, financial reporting or group accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and HGB; consolidation and close processes.
• Experience with corporate tax and VAT compliance.
• Experience in factoring, leasing, or asset finance environments.
• Big Four background or startup/scale-up exposure is a plus.
• Experience with SPVs or securitisation is beneficial.
• Proficient English; German skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual closings with high-quality financial reporting.
• Translate business plans into budgets and forecasts with Group Finance.
• Coordinate IFRS adjustments and consolidate financial statements.
• Oversee SPVs, securitisation, and intercompany transactions.
• Manage tax compliance (corporate tax and VAT) with external advisors.
• Drive automation and scalability of reporting and closing processes.
• Partner with stakeholders across Enpal Group on accounting topics.
