Job summary

TAL is seeking a Technical - Functional System Analyst in the Financial Systems Team to support Finance, Project Managers, and Business Analysts. The role involves technical and functional work across core finance modules and system integrations.

You will collaborate with an IT outsourcing partner, define processes, and lead upgrades while ensuring compliance and efficient user support. A relevant accounting degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing.
• SQL and debugging skills.
• Experience with finance systems interfaces and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work with Finance, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and users to support projects aligned with TAL strategy.
• Handle 50/50 technical/functional tasks across finance systems.
• Maintain/ create procedures and process documentation.
• Identify improvements and manage finance systems upgrade/patching projects.
• Triage and address finance system issues and requests.
