Menards is seeking an IS Financials Developer to build and maintain applications for the Accounting and Finance Team. You will work with Java and Progress/OpenEdge in a diverse enterprise stack, supporting business operations and delivering high-quality software.

Ideal candidates have strong programming fundamentals, SQL/database experience, and a willingness to learn Progress. Expect collaboration with leaders, regular updates, and potential on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in CS or related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals with Java and SQL skills.
• Willingness to learn Progress/OpenEdge and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial systems using Java and Progress/OpenEdge.
• Collaborate with Financial Systems Team Leader on project scope and timelines.
• Provide timely project updates and analyze business requirements.
• Write, test, and implement code changes; ensure quality and performance.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed.
