Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Systems & Data Governance to lead the finance systems landscape and data governance on a rapid‑growth path. You will own planning, reporting, and ERP configurations, while partnering with IT and business stakeholders to drive improvements.

You will establish governance, standardize processes, and guide data quality across planning and transactional systems, enabling accurate, timely insights for FP&A and leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Finance Systems, FP&A, Financial Operations, Business Systems, or Finance Transformation roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading a group that includes individual contributors and sometimes first‑line managers.
• Experience administering ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Experience administering and implementing planning tools (Anaplan, Pigment, Oracle Cloud EPM or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives through influence, driving alignment and adoption.
• Experience establishing master data governance frameworks and improving data quality.
• Strong understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial close processes.
• Proven project management experience leading cross‑functional systems initiatives

Responsibilities

• Finance Systems Ownership: serve as primary finance administrator and SME for financial planning, reporting, and ERP systems.
• In collaboration with IT, manage day‑to‑day support, user administration, security access, and maintenance of finance applications.
• Oversee integrations and data flows between ERP, planning, HRIS, CRM, and reporting platforms.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, IT, and business stakeholders to identify system enhancement opportunities and drive adoption.
• Master Data Governance & Data Quality: establish enterprise‑wide governance processes, ownership, change controls, and audit trails.
• ERP & Planning System Transformation: evaluate, select, and implement scalable ERP and planning solutions, lead workstreams.
• Financial Planning & Reporting Enablement: support budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and reporting via system administration.
• Process Improvement: identify opportunities to streamline finance processes through automation and better design.
