Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Respond to assistance requests for accounting software used by Client Accounting and Real Estate teams.
  • Document issues, resolutions, or actions in incident management system.
  • Resolve issues including escalated requests from support staff.
  • Review system and user reports to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Guide and implement small to medium system migrations, client implementations and upgrades.
  • Design and develop basic reports based on client requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate process and system improvements.
  • Participate in Lean Six Sigma and internal projects to improve efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Apply knowledge of standard principles to complete complex tasks and offer innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines; lead by example within CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact activities within own team and related teams within broad guidelines.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Finance Systems Consultant, you will provide support and technical assistance to users for issues related to a variety of software applications while meeting defined service level expectations.


This job is part of the Financial Systems job function. They are responsible for ensuring Accounting systems operate effectively.



What You’ll Do:


  • Respond to requests for assistance with a variety of accounting software packages used by Client Accounting services and Real Estate Management teams.

  • Document issues, resolutions, or other actions using an incident management system.

  • Resolve issues, including escalated requests from support staff.

  • Review system and user request reports to ensure all supported systems comply with established best practices, regulatory requirements, etc.

  • Guide and implement small to medium size system migrations, new client implementations, and system upgrades.

  • Design and develop basic reports based on internal and external client business requirements.

  • Identify and evaluate process and system improvements.

  • Participate in Lean Six Sigma projects and internal projects, to increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.

  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.



What You’ll Need:


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
