Job summary

Electric Power Engineers, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Manager, Finance Systems & Automation to join our Finance team in Austin, TX. This role blends traditional accounting with finance transformation, process automation, AI integration, and ERP optimization to scale our financial operations.

Responsibilities include owning month-end close activities, supporting revenue reporting, leading AI-enabled workflow initiatives, and translating finance needs into technical solutions with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial operations, finance systems, or related areas.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial processes.
• Experience leveraging AI, automation, RPA, workflow tools, or finance technology solutions to improve business operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and support month-end close activities, including data analysis, reconciliations, account analysis, and financial reporting.
• Support revenue reporting and analysis in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Lead the integration of AI-enabled tools and workflow automation across finance and accounting functions.
• Evaluate, document, and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Serve as a finance subject matter expert for ERP systems, workflow automation tools, and financial process design.
• Investigate and resolve complex accounting and operational variances.
• Support financial system implementations, integrations, and enhancements.
• Develop business requirements and collaborate with technical teams to translate finance needs into technology solutions.
• Lead the evaluation, development, and deployment of AI agents, automation workflows, and intelligent process solutions across Finance, Accounting, and Operations, driving measurable improvements in productivity, accuracy, and scalability.
