Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) is transforming Finance by building scalable automation and data-driven workflows. The role is part of the foundation team designing and implementing systems across FP&A, close, and reporting to speed decision making.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years blending data/systems work with finance exposure, and is comfortable operating with ambiguity. Proficiency with Databricks, Power BI, SQL, and Excel is highly valued, along with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• 3–5 years in data/systems with finance or accounting exposure.
• Demonstrated builder mindset with independent design/automation.
• Entrepreneurial approach with roadmap ownership and production delivery.
• Proficiency with Databricks and visualization/data tools (Power BI/Tableau/Python/SQL).
• Experience with data warehousing, database management, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with LLMs/AI tools in workflows.
• Experience with Enterprise FP&A tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale automated workflows and system integrations for Finance processes (close, reporting, forecasting).
• Own the roadmap for automation opportunities and drive to production.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines, dashboards, and analytics infrastructure.
• Serve as Center of Excellence for core systems (Databricks, Power BI, ERP/IFS Cloud).
• Evaluate and pilot AI/LLM-based tools to scale Finance operations.
• Maintain system documentation and data governance standards.
• Support monthly close and management reporting through automated infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Accounting, IT, and business units to meet FP&A needs.
