Axiom Space is seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst (Finance) to bridge Finance and IT, focusing on Deltek Costpoint. You will translate business needs into technical specs, document processes, and support financial system upgrades and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years in business/systems analysis supporting finance or accounting functions.
• Experience with ERP systems; Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating to functional/technical specs.
• Experience with system implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
• Familiarity with financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Billing, Project Costing).
• Proficiency in creating process flows and data flow documentation.
• Working knowledge of ERP configuration and functionality.
• Ability to write functional specs and user stories.
• Experience with UAT planning and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements for system enhancements and reports.
• Serve as liaison between Finance and IT, translating needs into technical specifications.
• Document current and future state business processes and data flows for financial systems.
• Support design, testing, and deployment of new applications and integrations affecting finance operations.
• Analyze financial processes to identify automation and efficiency improvements.
• Assist in configuring and testing Costpoint modules (GL, AP, AR, Billing, Project Costing).
• Develop functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for system changes.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect tracking.
• Create and maintain SOPs and training materials.
• Support data mapping for system integrations and migrations.
• Facilitate meetings to align requirements and timelines.
• Provide ongoing support for system issues with IT and vendors.
