Job summary

Abbott seeks a Finance Supervisor for our CRM organization, onsite in Austin, TX. You will lead month-end close activities, develop forecasts, and provide executive-level financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

The role requires 6–8 years of finance/accounting experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Essbase, and PowerBI. Lead a summer intern and collaborate with marketing and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 6–8 years of full-time finance and/or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, variance analysis skills, and attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries during month end close to ensure proper accounting.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports and packages by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance. Provide commentary on variances against benchmarks.
• Develop detailed OMC and SG&A forecasts incorporating historic, trended, and current business information.
• Partner with various functions to evaluate return on investment on gross margin improvement projects and commercial/marketing initiatives.
• Build financial models to deep dive into complex business problems and provide analysis to Sr. Management.
