Job summary

Abbott CRM is seeking a highly motivated Finance Supervisor to join our team onsite in Austin, TX. This role will support the US CRM Commercial organization with financial planning, analysis and reporting, translating data into actionable insights for leadership.

You will prepare journal entries, develop forecasts, build models, and present executive-ready analyses. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 6–8 years of finance or accounting experience, with strong Excel and ERP system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 6-8 years of full-time finance and/or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, variance analysis skills, and attention to details.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to learn system software and databases quickly (SAP, Essbase, PowerBI)

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries during month end close to ensure proper accounting.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports and packages by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance.
• Develop detailed OMC and SG&A forecasts incorporating historic, trended, and current business information.
• Partner with various functions to evaluate return on investment on gross margin improvement projects and commercial/marketing initiatives.
• Build financial models to deep dive into complex business problems and provide analyses to senior management.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations with concise messaging and visuals.
• Perform ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed by the business.
• Supervise summer intern.
