Job summary

Russell Investments offers a full-time summer intern program in New York designed to give students a head start in investment management. Interns will join a team, work on meaningful projects, and be considered for a full-time role after the program.

The experience includes exposure to various investment disciplines and collaboration with senior leaders. Program starts in late May or mid-June, with an emphasis on learning, mentorship, and hands-on work.

Qualifications

• Coursework related to Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Accounting, or Computer Science.
• Undergraduate student - preference given to candidates who are finishing their sophomore or junior year of college or university studies.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week), at least 4 days in office during the summer for 10-12 weeks.
• Intellectual curiosity, "people first" mentality, and non-negotiable integrity
• Strong interest in financial markets
• Data analytics skills (Excel or Power BI) are a plus
• Programming skills (SQL, Python, or R) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Interns will work on meaningful projects alongside experienced professionals.
• Projects span areas such as Alternatives (Private Markets), Portfolio Analytics, Risk, Product, and Go-To-Market analytics.
• Support teams with data collection, analysis, reporting, and client-market insights.
