Job summary

GE Appliances Park in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Finance Summer Intern (Shared Services) to support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury operations. Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Significant experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Prior internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Shared Services Finance team with AR, AP, and Treasury activities.
• Uses Oracle and Microsoft 365 to research customer accounts and prepare statements.
• Gathers and organizes supporting documentation for timely issue resolution and accurate records.
• Resolves past-due invoices and customer deductions to support collections and dispute resolution.
• Investigates unapplied cash and customer credits by reconciling transactions.
• Helps process and reconcile credit card transactions and ensure data integrity in Oracle.
• Collaborates with partners to resolve routine accounting inquiries and provide timely financial information.
• Completes special projects and process-improvement tasks.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Microsoft 365 proficiency
