Lightship is seeking a senior finance leader in Broomfield, CO, to own our financial strategy as we scale manufacturing and expand product lines. You will drive FP&A, accounting, treasury, and investor relations, partnering with leadership to optimize capital allocation and margins for a growing hardware business.

You will oversee the finance function, build robust controls, and lead a team of 4, delivering audit-ready statements and strategic insights to the board.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with team leadership.
• Deep expertise in FP&A, corporate finance and cash management at a hardware/manufacturing company.
• Hands-on product finance: BOM management, cost accounting, inventory and margin analysis.
• Experience building integrated three-statement models for a complex hardware business.
• Direct oversight of an accounting function with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.

Responsabilités

• Lead FP&A and planning; own the integrated financial model and forecast accuracy.
• Partner with leadership on pricing, partnerships and capital allocation decisions.
• Manage product finance, BOM costings and COGS margin analysis.
• Oversee accounting policy, internal controls and GAAP reporting.
• Manage treasury, working capital, banking relationships and cash runway.
• Lead fundraising activities and investor reporting with co-founders.
• Design and scale finance systems and controls; ensure tax compliance.
• Present KPIs and strategic insights to executive leadership and board.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team (currently 4).
