Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including data entry and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and manage financial deposits for the district.
• Reconcile district purchasing cards monthly and verify receipts and tax handling.
• Code invoices and prepare them for payment with proper budget allocations.
• Track project-related work and construction activity to support budgets.
• Assist with financial/audit reports and GASB 96 compliance.
• Assist with SBITA purchases tracking.
• Manage the district's Amazon business account and review activity accounts.
• Prepare annual insurance renewal.
• Track utility consumption for all buildings and reconcile accounts monthly.
• Assist with scholarships payments and awards.
• Review Positive Pay daily records.
• Provide finance-related training and respond to inquiries.
• Provide backup for Accounts Payable and process checks.
