University of Nebraska–Lincoln seeks a Finance Specialist for the Innovation Campus Business Center. You will guide service center contracts, forecast expenses, and set rates, partnering with departments to ensure compliant financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of related financial experience.
• Experience with SAP or other large integrated financial systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information per laws and policies.
• Experience in higher education environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary resource for service center and contract administration across IANR, ensuring compliance.
• Partner with departments to develop, manage, and improve service center operations and contracts.
• Forecast expenses and calculate service rates based on activity; review budget-to-actuals.
• Manage an assigned portfolio across funding sources including state accounts, grants, service centers, and revolving accounts.
• Review and coordinate complex financial activities such as travel, journals, accounts receivable, capital assets.
