Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis. Impacts the quality of your own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on executing standard enabling activities and providing advice within policy and work routines. There may be some flexibility to adjust task sequences based on changing situations.

**Job Description**

**Roles and Responsibilities**

1. Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany, etc. Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP, and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial services.
2. Broaden knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures in your discipline to execute functional policy/strategy; continue developing functional knowledge and skills.
3. Understand key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish work. Recognize how your team's work integrates with others and contributes to the area.
4. Make decisions within a defined framework. Resolve issues requiring good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consult more senior team members for issues outside of policy or parameters.
5. Develop strong interpersonal skills, especially for customer-facing roles. Build customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE. Explain technical information clearly to others.
