In this role you will support the digital asset operations of Jump by maintaining the integrity of the general ledger across a multitude of legal entities. The primary responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Analyst are to maintain and optimize the accounting processes related to month-end-close and reporting and ensure that the books and records of the digital asset legal entities are complete and accurate. The Senior Accounting Analyst is also responsible for ensuring that our processes enable the department to best support existing business as well as future growth and expansion. You will have responsibility for the books and records of several Jump subsidiaries including period-end financial reporting. Each day you will be faced with new challenges that will continuously leave you looking for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency across the department while ensuring a focus on excellence and maintaining high standards of accuracy and accountability. The candidate should have a combination of both traditional accounting expertise and an expressed interest in digital assets.

Variance analysis.

Analyze monthly variances to explain why the numbers moved, surfacing trends and anomalies that inform how the business understands its performance.

Finance automation.

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements or automation and build solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy, including driving AI initiatives forward.

Problem-solving & process improvement.

Tackle ad hoc analyses and open-ended questions, continuously looking for ways to streamline and strengthen how we work.
