Job summary

Bank of America in Chester (UK) offers the Finance Management Analyst Programme (FMAP), a two-year rotational development programme within the CFO Group. You’ll be part of a team responsible for financial management, ensuring accuracy and timely information for stakeholders, and developing skills in accounting, data management and internal treasury.

Analysts join on a two-year rotation with a strong focus on learning, research and projects while preparing for CGMA certification upon completion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with completion between September 2026 and July 2027.
• On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
• Must have right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Available to join in January, April or July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Taking proactive approach to learning the bank’s products, strategies, opportunities for enhancements, Operational Excellence, culture and CFO Priorities.
• Forecasting financial and non-financial trends, developing models and performing financial analysis of business investments.
• Supporting internal financial planning and management accounting functions.
• Presenting financial data and analysis to business partners and key stakeholders.
• Utilising emerging technologies to simplify and improve processes across the CFO Group.
• Networking with finance executives and FMAP alumni network to cultivate meaningful relationships across various lines of business.
• Advancing leadership skills by leading and/or participating in projects and committees.
