Job summary

Citi in Lima, Peru is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst 2 - C10 to support the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports. The role sits in the Controllers Organization and reports to the Finance Accounting Manager, with exposure to Finance and non-Finance teams across Citi.

You will assist with closing books, ensure timely regulatory filings, help drive process improvements, support regulatory inquiries, and implement regulatory changes within the reporting framework.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in financial services and regulatory reporting.

Job Overview

The Regulatory Reporting role is a position within the Controllers Organization that will report to Finance Accounting Manager. The individual will support the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to local regulators, based on applicable requirements such as local regulatory reporting rules and instructions. The position will have visibility within the organization with opportunities to work directly with other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi, including the Businesses, Risk, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as Enterprise Technology, & Operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period.
• Support on the production, review and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports.
• Support the team’s efforts to drive process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of the regulatory reporting process.
• Provide support to the team during regulatory inquiries and examinations, providing accurate information and analysis to support regulatory reviews.
• Work with peers and program leaders on the implementation of regulatory changes within the reporting framework.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting.
• Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes to build consistency in presenting information.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and influence change.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.
• Intermediate communication skills in English is required

Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or Master's degree preferred
