Job summary

CIBC US is seeking a results-oriented finance professional to lead interpretation, analysis, and strategic use of data related to U.S. program and project financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

You will oversee reporting accuracy, develop insights, and support senior management with actionable analyses. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, dashboard development, and process improvements to enhance reporting quality and consistency in a hybrid on-site/remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and storytelling skills with data.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead gathering, validation, and distribution of recurring and ad hoc project, portfolio, and management reports for senior leadership.
• Design and maintain financial analysis, reporting, metrics, thresholds, and standards to monitor portfolio performance.
• Validate metrics within project business cases and oversee forecast accuracy and business case alignment.
• Create and maintain portfolio-level forecasts and management reporting for executive decision-making.
• Partner with Finance to oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support leadership decisions and compliance monitoring.
• Identify enhancements to reporting processes and technology for efficiency and control.
• Collaborate with Project Finance and sponsors to ensure timely initiative delivery and consistent reporting.
