Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Financial Reporting and Data Quality Specialist for the Western US and Canada Division to provide centralized reporting, private award reporting, and financial reporting support across the division.

You will collaborate with Finance Specialists, Managers, Development staff, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, compliant financial information for donor stewardship and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting applications.
• Ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret data.
• Experience with accounting/financial issues and analysis.
• Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems, Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve standardized financial reporting templates, dashboards, tools, and reporting processes across the Division.
• Prepare, coordinate, and distribute recurring financial reports and reporting packages for leadership and stakeholders.
• Support and coordinate financial reporting requirements for various funding sources and programs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Development, and program teams to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Assist with management, donor, board, partner, audit, and compliance-related reporting requests.
• Monitor compliance requirements and support resolution of private award-related financial issues.
