Job summary

The City University of New York’s Graduate Center is seeking a Finance Reporting Analyst to manage revenue and expense accounting for Tax Levy and Non-Tax Levy, including tuition and fees and ACE.

Based in New York, this full-time role reports to Accounting and Reporting Manager and requires a Bachelor’s degree with four years of related experience, strong MS Office, and familiarity with Workday. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with four years of related accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs account analytics for balance sheet accounts.
• Assists with fiscal mid-year and year-end accounting close.
• Prepares revenue projections.
• Tracks, analyzes and prepares reports for senior staff and central office.
• Reviews accruals and ensures balances are reconciled.
• Prepares budget to actual analyses and variance explanations.
• Assists with financial systems implementations (PeopleSoft to Workday).
• Assists with internal and external audits.
