Job Details

Currently seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to oversee complex Building Automation projects at son e of the most advanced facilities in the country—including data centers, healthcare campuses, life sciences labs, and smart commercial spaces. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll be on the front lines of this innovation—leading complex, large-scale automation projects from kickoff to commissioning.

You’ll manage internal teams and external vendors, drive schedules and budgets, and make sure that each project meets both technical standards and client expectations. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in complex environments, communicates with confidence, and brings deep experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS), controls integration, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for sophisticated building automation and integration projects across healthcare, commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, software technicians, construction managers, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth execution and quality outcomes.
• Own project documentation—from MOPs and submittals to commissioning plans, close-out packages, and as-built records.
• Serve as the primary client contact for day-to-day communication, schedule updates, and high-level coordination.
• Oversee project financials, including forecasting, budget tracking, profitability, and billing schedules.
• Identify and mitigate risk, adjust plans proactively, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Participate in internal planning sessions, external stakeholder meetings, and technical design reviews.
• Ensure QA/QC processes are followed throughout all phases of execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering, or related technical discipline (preferred)
• Experience working with mission-critical environments such as data centers, large healthcare facilities, or life sciences campuses.
• 8+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems or Controls projects, with at least 2 years leading projects in a PM capacity.
• Strong familiarity with open protocols like BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, and platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Distech, and similar systems.
• Proficiency with construction and project management tools like Procore, MS Project, and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts (VLANs, IP addressing, RSTP, LAN/WAN), especially in relation to smart building technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, communicate with clients, and maintain accountability across all stakeholders.
• OSHA or NFPA70E certification (or willingness to obtain).
