Korn Ferry is partnering with a Chicago-based technology company to recruit a Director of Accounting & Transformation. This role leads a four-person team and oversees the close, technical accounting, and finance transformation initiatives in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

The position emphasizes automation, process improvement and stronger analytics while ensuring SOX controls and US GAAP compliance. A hybrid Chicago schedule requires one day per week in the downtown office.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with ownership of a public-company close.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SOX internal controls.
• Experience with SEC reporting requirements.
• Big Four background preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools to support research and drafting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close with accurate financial statements under US GAAP.
• Oversee accounting records quality, reconciliations and general ledger controls.
• Coordinate SEC filings (10-K/10-Q/8-K) and audits with auditors.
• Drive Finance transformation, ERP modernization and automation initiatives.
• Develop and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Collaborate with Legal, Investor Relations, Technology and business partners.
