Job summary

Netflix Finance Technology team builds and maintains applications for the evolving needs of the Finance organization. This role serves as the functional lead for Procure to Pay and accounting, shaping configurations and integrations in a fast-paced environment based in Los Angeles.

The ideal candidate has enterprise ERP experience (Workday, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite), strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to own end-to-end delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive ERP experience with Workday/Oracle/SAP/NetSuite.
• Experience with P2P processes and financial data.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• XML transformation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery as the functional lead for new builds, configurations, and integrations across Finance modules.
• Manage relationships with finance leaders, product managers, and engineers to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Identify process gaps and automation opportunities to optimize the Procure to Pay and accounting domains.

Our team is seeking an innovative functional lead to help us solutionize and navigate a rapid development environment with multiple internal business stakeholders in the Procure to Pay and Accounting areas. The ideal candidate has experience with enterprise applications like Workday, and can develop strong cross functional relationships with business partners across the finance teams.The position will be based in Los Angeles and report to the Manager of Finance Technology.What You Will Do:Manage relationships with finance leaders, product managers, engineering managers, and partners to understand and translate business requirements and influence cross team prioritiesProactively identify process gaps, inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and risk in the current processesOwn the end-to-end delivery as the functional lead for any new builds, system configurations, implementations of a new module, its feature set, identifying gaps, and proposing scalable solutions in the financial systems across multiple or single modulesFully manage medium-to-large projects independently by having deep experience in domain knowledge, both functionally or technically, and make independent design decisionsDesired Qualifications:In-depth enterprise software experience in big ERP/accounting systems like Workday/Oracle/SAP/NetSuite as a systems analyst. Having Workday experience will be a plusUnderstand business flows well and show clarity in thought when working with P2P (Procure to Pay) and other financial dataExperience in working with engineers, product managers, and product ownersExperience in understanding integrations with various systemsA strong, independent contributor who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, works in uncharted territory, and also has curiosity to learn a complex business area.Clear and concise communication skills to disseminate information about your work, design, and tradeoff decisions, both in writing and verballyBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting (or a related field) or equivalent experience requiredFunctional knowledge in one or more of the following areas: P2P, accounting, month-end close, and financial reportingExperience with XML and document transformations would be an advantage.Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $270,000.00 - $410,000.00.Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits.
