Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in San Jose, CA is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the PMO’s program financials, including complex modeling, risk assessments, and performance analyses. You will report to the Sr Program Director and work on a 9/80 schedule within the CAES Aerospace Technologies location.

The role requires 8+ years in finance, SAP experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead period-end closing activities across assigned programs, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting between the PMO and Finance organizations.
• Facilitate weekly and monthly financial cadence across the portfolio, including inputs, reviews, and on-time submission of deliverables to leadership and stakeholders.
• Analyze individual program financial performance, including key metrics such as Bookings, Sales, Earnings, and Cash, and provide clear insights to support decision-making.
• Monitor elements of cost and program financial health (EAC’s), proactively identifying risks and opportunities and communicating impacts to program and finance leadership.
• Support externally reported Earned Value Management (EVM) programs, including compliance with requirements such as IPMDAR, CFSR, DFARS clauses, and DID formats (experience preferred).
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools, including stoplight charts, revenue forecasts, cash flow projections, and ROI analyses.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial planning, reporting, and controls.
• Support investment-related activities, including capital projects, advanced material funding, and proposal development.
• Partner cross-functionally with Program Management, Finance, Accounting, and Operations to ensure alignment between financial plans and program execution.
• Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements.
