Job summary

World Bank Group in Washington, DC seeks an Extended Term Consultant to diagnose and transform end-to-end finance processes, including Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Originate to Distribute. You will lead cross-functional teams, apply data analysis and process mining, and design future-state solutions with AI-enabled capabilities.

The role requires advanced degrees and proven experience in finance process transformation, with strong stakeholder engagement and a track record

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in finance, business, or related field with leadership in finance process transformation.
• Expertise in end-to-end process assessment and redesign with data analysis & process mining.
• Understanding of AI, generative AI, and agentic approaches for finance processes.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or comparable improvement expertise is desirable.
• Strong influencing and communication skills to mobilize stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a program to diagnose and transform end-to-end finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, OTD).
• Use data analysis, process mining, and performance measures to identify bottlenecks and root causes.
• Design future-state processes and roadmaps including AI, controls, data, and automation.
• Engage leadership and facilitate cross-functional alignment on new finance models.
• Translate findings into executive recommendations and actionable implementation plans.
