Job summary

Northwestern Medicine's Finance-Business Process Automation Undergraduate Intern Program invites energetic undergraduates in business or computer science to contribute to automation projects over the summer of 2027. The role emphasizes hands-on work with VBA Macros, RPA, and financial operations while developing professional skills in a hospital setting.

You will complete projects, document processes, and collaborate with staff across departments, with a May/June 2027 start and a 40-hour work

Qualifications

Current undergraduate enrollment in business or computer science.
Preferred: completion of at least the sophomore year.
May/June 2027 internship start date.

Responsibilities

Uphold the mission, standards and values of NMH.
Successfully complete projects and tasks as assigned.
Develop a working knowledge of VBA Macros, RPA and financial operations to contribute to projects.
Document processes and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Identify and resolve potential issues.
Develop relationships with staff and management across the organization.
Participate in intern development activities.
Coordinate with department managers to transition work at internship end.
Additional duties as assigned.
